Most of them run on a mix of WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets and a commission platform. A dispatch system puts every booking, driver and vehicle on one screen, and you keep every dirham of the fare.
A limousine operator permit from the RTA comes with an expectation that the fleet is tracked by GPS. Every driver who goes on duty in our driver app appears on your live map, with the position refreshing every 6 to 10 seconds. Every completed job keeps a record of driver, vehicle, route, times and fare, which is the evidence you need if the RTA, a hotel or a corporate client asks what happened on a journey. Your licence and permits stay your responsibility; the system gives you the records.
Take the flight number at booking, add meet-and-greet instructions, set free waiting time and waiting charges, and quote a fixed fare before the customer confirms. Pre-booked airport jobs can be allocated days in advance, and the system warns the controller if the allocated driver is still offline shortly before pickup, so a 4am terminal pickup is not missed because someone overslept.
Salik now charges different amounts at different times of day, so a quote that ignores tolls leaks money on every trip through a gate. Build the toll into your tariff rules as a surcharge by zone, route or time of day, and the fixed price the customer sees already covers it.
Account customers book with their own reference or purchase order number, jobs build up against the account, and the invoice is produced at month end. A hotel concierge desk or a company travel team can be given its own login to book and track journeys, which takes a large share of the phone and WhatsApp traffic off your controllers.
